Dancing is a good hobby for all ages being a wonderful form of exercise as well as fun.
Joining Adeline Dance Studios as a beginner you will learn a few basic steps in several dances.
As you progress with your dancing you will eventually progress to more advanced figures and then you may even wish to take some tests.
At Adeline Dance we enter pupils for the ISTD medal Programme.
Remember, the medals are an optional choice and there is no pressure to take exams,
All the tests can be taken in Ballroom, Latin American, Sequence and Disco/Freestyle branches all with different age categories.
There is a fee for these exams for which you will receive a report from the ISTD about your dancing.
On being successful you will receive a certificate and the appropriate medal or award.

Examination Procedure
The ISTD examination Procedure is recognised by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority. Because of this it will be necessary for you to register with the ISTD and obtain a PIN number in
order to register for a medal test.
There is no cost in joining the ISTD and registration is used for administration purposes only.
